We have recently released two new red wines that are the perfect choices for beautiful spring-time weather: a brand-new Tempranillo, and the second vintage of our popular Cabernet Franc!
The 2021 vintage was excellent for these two alternative varieties, allowing us to let them shine on their own as single-varietal wines where they would normally be mixed into a blend.
These wines have been made with minimal yet attentive winemaking and is bottles with low sulphites for early consumption, a perfect red for spring and summer.
Our 2021 Tempranillo is bright purple-red, the perfume inviting with cherry cola and raspberry from whole berry fermentation along with some baked earth, citrus peel, clove and wild thyme notes. The palate is juicy and fresh with crunchy tannins that freshen the palate ready for the next mouthful.
The 2021 Cabernet Franc is bright crimson red with purple tints, the perfume is inviting with rose petal, musk and raspberry from whole berry fermentation along with some candle wax and star anise/fennel complexity. The palate is lively with a silky middle palate, some structural savoury tannins and a crunchy red apple finish.
