Last weekend James Halliday named his Top 100 wines for 2020 in the Weekend Australian and we were thrilled to see our 2019 Second Innings Malbec on the list!

Listed in the Top Reds Under $30 category, James gave our 2019 Second Innings Malbec 95 points and said:

"Bleasdale can't put a foot wrong with malbec at whatever price point it chooses. This is flooded with plum varietal fruit, but also has the texture and back-palate structure that many malbecs miss out on. Winemaker Paul Hotker is a wizard."

When we asked Paul what he had to say about this latest accolade, he said "Thanks for the promotion James, Chief Wizard sounds a lot better than Chief Winemaker!"
