Stop the presses! Last night at the 2021 Melbourne Royal Wine Awards our 2020 Second Innings Malbec picked up the Trophy for Best Single Varietal Red wine!

It was also a finalist in the judging for this year's Jimmy Watson Trophy, which means we were incredibly close to picking up back-to-back Jimmies! (Our 2018 Wild Fig SGM won the 2019 Jimmy Watson and there was no 2020 show held due to COVID)

On top of the trophy, we also took home gold medals for our2019 Frank Potts, 2020 Wellington Road GSM, 2019 Wellington Road Shiraz Cabernet wines.

2021 has been an incredibly successful year for Bleasdale Malbec: we have been awarded three trophies so far over this calendar year, and all three have been for Malbec wines! (One for 2019 Generations Malbec, one for 2020 Generations Malbec and now one for 2019 Second Innings Malbec)

Unfortunately our 2020 Second Innings Malbec is not available for purchase just yet, but we'll make sure to let you know when it is released!
