Henry (Fiddle) Potts was a grandson of Bleasdale’s Founder, Frank Potts. In the 1920’s, Fiddle took to fishing in nearby Lake Alexandrina.
Harvested early in the season just before a nasty heatwave hit South Australia and with some of the fruit being hand picked from our 85 year old vines. A splash of Sauvignon Blanc was added to the final blend to deliver a crisp, refreshing wine with zippy acidity, fruit salad flavours abound this year along with some grassiness. A very estery lifted fruit wine in a dry and unwooded style.
