Frank Potts founded Bleasdale in 1850, this wine celebrates his legacy of innovation and resourcefulness. This wine is a Cabernet Sauvignon based bordeaux blend and may contain varying percentages of Malbec, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Merlot depending on the performance of those varietals in the vintage year.
This is the 17th release of Bleasdale's flagship Frank Potts.
The 2009 vintage produced outstanding quality, particularly in Malbec and Petit Verdot and the resultant wine has great perfume and structure, richness and texture, with the typical blackberry, chocolate and violet character.
Drinking well now, the wine will reward careful cellaring up until 2025.
