This wine was fortified with a mixture of both brandy and neutral grape spirit and then allowed to settle for 9 months in old oak casks in the cool of the cellar, finally blended with a touch of juicy touriga and then bottled early in 2009 to retain the vibrant blackberry, licorice, marzipan and anise flavours.
