"Packaged in the most original and striking bottle-cum-decanter I have seen. The wine has an average age of over 20 years and is entitled to the 'Rare' name. Full golden tawny; it has been brilliantly blended so that the complex mosaic of aged fruit flavours are not stale, nor is the alcohol aggressive; it has perfect rancio, and the flavours of Christmas cake, brandysnap, honey, dried fruits and glace fruits are all part of the picture, none dominating. In terms of sheer drinkability, this is quite exceptional."
