Australia’s most consistently impressive sparkling Shiraz. Plum and red cherry freshness is derived from younger fruit in the blend, while mature Shiraz lends rich savoury spice and dark chocolate flavours. Just how a wine of such quality can be produced every year for such a measly price is, frankly, totally beyond me.

The Potts' in Langhorne Creek never did things by halves. The 120 year old, hand-sawn red gum lever press in the Bleasdale cellar weighs 3.5 tons, is 15 metres long and stands 7 metres high. Makes today's modern winery machinery look like a Lego set.
